Chardham Yatra Route (4 Dham Travel Circuit)

Traditionally, this tour is undertaken from the west to the east, thus, the yatra begins from Yamunotri (hence 1st dham of tour) then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath. Generally Pilgrims visit Yamunotri and Gangotri first to bring the holy waters from the sources of the rivers Yamuna and Ganga and offer abhishekams to Kedareshwara (jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva).

Popular Convenient Route : Haridwar → Rishikesh → Deo Prayag → Tehri → Dharasu → Yamunotri → Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Gaurikund → Kedarnath → Joshimath → Badrinath.
