Types of Weather in India

Even the weather in India is so diverse that you can feel all the seasons in any month of a year, if you just cross one state border to another. Summer (March to June)
North India: In the plains you can expect the scorching heat that ranges from 30°C to 45°C. During this time cities like Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra can be extremely hot. But the hill stations like Shimla, Manali, and Nainital offer great escape with temperatures between 15°C and 25°C.
South India: The temperature of coastal areas of Kerala and Tamil Nadu lies between 25°C to 35°C and you also have to face humid weather. During this time you can explore the Western Ghats and hill stations like Ooty and Munnar which are cooler and pleasant. Whereas, Bangalore and Hyderabad show milder temperatures than coastal regions.
East and West India: You will face dry heat in the west (Rajasthan) where temperatures can soar up to 48°C, and humidity in the east (West Bengal) with temperatures around 30°C to 38°C. As well as the coastal cities like Mumbai experiences high humidity and the inland areas like Ahmedabad and Pune remain dry and hot.
Monsoon (June to September)
North India: After facing scorching heat, this is the time when North India finally gets some relief with temperature from 25°C to 35°C. You can visit Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh because they turn lush green during the monsoon. But be aware that heavy rains can sometimes cause landslides and roadblocks.
South India: In monsoon the temperature falls between 23°C and 30°C, Kerala and Karnataka face heavy rain along with the flood like situation in the coastal regions but you can enjoy the famous Nehru Trophy Boat Race in Kerala as well as the beautiful Western Ghats
East and West India: Kolkata and Mumbai also experience heavy rain and flooding is pretty common in these areas. Whereas, the temperatures range from 25°C to 32°C. For the off-season destination with lush greenery and less crowd you can go to Goa that get fully changed and refreshed after rains.
Autumn (October to November)
North India: This is the perfect time for exploring cities like Delhi, Agra and Jaipur when you will face the pleasant weather, where the daytime temperatures range between 20°C and 30°C and the cooler nights, dropping to 10°C to 15°C.
